The Barclays Center will play host to a Wednesday night NBA clash between the Orlando Magic and Brooklyn Nets.
The Magic have dropped seven of their previous ten games and are 2.5 games out of playoff contention in the East. On Monday, Orlando outscored Atlanta by 16 points in the second half to pull away for a 121-105 road triumph. The Magic turned the ball over just 11 times and shot 51 percent from the field.
Nikola Vucevic and Evan Fournier scored 29 points apiece and combined to shoot 21-for-41 from the field. Terrence Ross contributed 16 points and seven rebounds in 27 minutes off the Orlando bench.
The Brooklyn Nets have won four straight games and are one of the hottest teams in the league. On Monday, Brooklyn dismantled Sacramento by 34 points during the second half of a 123-94 home triumph. The Nets limited the Kings to just nine points over the final 12 minutes and won the battle on the glass by a 65-43 margin.
Brooklyn G D’Angelo Russell knocked down 7-for-14 from the three-point line and finished with a game high 31 points. Joe Harris chipped in 19 points and seven rebounds for the Nets.
