The Los Angeles Lakers will take a slight road trip to Sacramento on Thursday night for game six of the preseason. Los Angeles comes into this game 0-5 in the preseason following a 111-99 home loss to the Golden State Warriors. Anthony Davis led the way for the Los Angeles starters with 17 points 6 rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes.

Chaundee Brown led the way for a struggling Lakers bench going 5-10 from the floor including 1-2 from 3 totaling 11 points. Former Oklahoma sooner Austin Reeves scored 10 points in 27 minutes off the bench after hitting 2 of 4 from downtown.

The Sacramento Kings returned home on Thursday after a two-game road trip with a 3-0 record overall following a 107-93 when against the Portland Trail Blazers. Lottery pick Davion Mitchell got the start at point guard and led all Sacramento players with 20 points in 32 minutes, while going 6-9 from 3 point land.

Harrison Barnes chipped into the Sacramento offense with 16 points in 22 minutes after going 6-10 from the floor, while knocking in three from behind the arc. Terrence Davis supplied a spark off the bench points in 22 minutes on 6-14 from the floor.

The Los Angeles Lakers by far have the better roster and are the better team in this matchup but have shown they do not care at all about the preseason. Look for that trend to continue as the young Kings continue to work things out in preparation for the regular season. The Lakers will again be in cruise control leading to a Kings win on Thursday. Final Score Prediction, the Sacramento Kings win and cover 121-98.
