The New York Liberty look for their third straight victory when they visit the Seattle Storm on Wednesday. Brittany Boyd added 15 while Asia Durr contributed 11.

Seattle looks to bounce back from a loss when hosting the Liberty. The Storm were defeated by the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday 69-67. The loss was Seattle’s first at home this season. Sami Whitcomb led the Storm with 13 points while Alysha Clark and Mercedes Russell each scored 12. Three of Seattle’s starting five have been injured as Breanna Stewart and Sue Bird have yet to play and Jewell Loyd injured her ankle and will miss three weeks. Tina Charles is leading New York in scoring and rebounding with averages of 18.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Kia Nurse is second in scoring with an average of 15.3 points per game. Brittany Boyd is the assists leader with an average of 5.9 per game. Four players on the Liberty are averaging double figures in scoring.

Natasha Howard leads the Storm in scoring and rebounding with averages of 17.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, while Jewell Loyd is second in scoring with an average of 15.8 per game. Jordin Canada is leading the Storm in assists with an average of 4.7 per game. Just two players are averaging double-figures in scoring for Seattle.
