In the first game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Los Angeles Lakers will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Lakers are seven games below .500 overall and failed to qualify for the postseason. On Sunday, Los Angeles outscored New Orleans by 22 points during the third quarter of a 130-102 road triumph. The Lakers forced 24 turnovers and shot 48 percent from the field.

Rajon Rondo led Los Angeles with 24 points on 9-for-14 shooting and dished out 12 assists. Alex Caruso contributed a career-high 23 points in 29 minutes off the bench. The Oklahoma City Thunder have dropped consecutive games and are tied with San Antonio for seventh place in the Western Conference. On Sunday, Oklahoma City was unable to take advantage of Luka Doncic’s absence during a 106-103 home loss versus Dallas. The Thunder missed 32 of their 43 long range attempts and shot just 39 percent overall.

All-Star F Paul George tallied a game high 27 points on 8-for-20 from the field and pulled down 11 rebounds. Steven Adams added 20 points and 15 rebounds for the Thunder.

Los Angeles F Kyle Kuzma (foot) did not play on Sunday and is listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams rank in the top five in tempo and their will not be much defense played.
