The Tuesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks from State Farm Arena.

The Lakers have lost seven of their previous ten games and trail the Clippers by 2.5 games for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. On Sunday, Los Angeles offered little resistance during a 143-120 loss at Philadelphia. The Lakers surrendered 30 plus points in each quarter and allowed the 76ers to shoot 58 percent from the field.

Los Angeles F Kyle Kuzma exploded for a game high 39 points on a 14-for-21 shooting performance. Javale McGee added 21 points and 13 rebounds in a losing effort for the Lakers. The Atlanta Hawks have lost three games and are 20 games below .500 overall. On Sunday, Atlanta was outscored by 14 points during the second quarter of a 124-108 home loss versus Orlando. The Hawks were dominated on the glass by a 58-40 margin and shot 46 percent from the field.

Alex Len tallied a team high 16 points in 19 minutes off the Atlanta bench. Rookie G Trae Young added 13 points and seven assists in a losing effort for the Hawks.
