LA Lakers vs Miami Heat 10/4/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The NBA Finals will continue on Sunday night, when the Los Angeles Lakers square off against the Miami Heat from the Walt Disney World Resort. On Friday, Los Angeles built a 14-point halftime lead and cruised to a 124-114 victory. The Lakers flexed their muscle on the glass by a 52-41 margin and scored 56 points in the paint.

LeBron James led all scorers with 33 points (14-25 FG) to go along with nine rebounds and nine assists. Anthony Davis contributed 32 points on 15-for-20 from the floor and pulled down 14 rebounds.

The Miami Heat won nine of their first 12 playoff games to reach the NBA Finals and now have to climb out of a 2-0 hole. In Game Two, Miami converted 31 of their 34 free-throw attempts and assisted on 29 of their 36 made field goals. The fifth-seeded Heat missed 16 of their 27 three-pointers and their largest lead was just two points.

Miami G Jimmy Butler gutted it out through an ankle injury and finished with a team-high 25 points. Kelly Olynyk added 24 points (9-16 FG) and nine rebounds in 37 minutes off the Heat bench.

Miami C Bam Adebayo (shoulder) did not play in Game Two and is expected to suit up for this contest. The Heat believe that they can overcome a 2-0 series deficit and they have a culture that will have them fight to the end. Take Miami and the points. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Lakers win but fall short ATS 110-108.
