LA Clippers at Utah Jazz 6/16/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Vivint Arena will play host to a Wednesday night NBA playoff matchup between the LA Clippers and the Utah Jazz. On Monday, LA raced out to a 17-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 118-104 home victory. The fourth-seeded Clippers connected on 15-for-37 from the three-point line and led by as many as 29 points.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard led LA with 31 points apiece on a combined 18-for-39 from the field. Marcus Morris Sr. chipped in 24 points and six rebounds for the Clippers.

The Utah Jazz won a league-best 31 home games during the regular season and are 4-1 at home during the playoffs. In Game Four, Utah failed to take a commanding 3-1 series lead and trailed 68-44 at halftime. The Jazz knocked down 17-for-42 from long distance and shot 43 percent overall in defeat. 

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell poured in a game-high 37 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists. Joe Ingles added 19 points in 27 minutes for the Jazz.

Utah G Mike Conley (hamstring) has not played since June 2nd and is listed as questionable for this contest. These two teams rank in the top three in offensive efficiency during the postseason, so the over is worth a look. The stronger play is on Utah to win at home.
