LA Clippers at Phoenix Suns 6/20/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Western Conference Finals will get underway on Sunday afternoon, when the LA Clippers visit the Phoenix Suns. The fourth-seeded Clippers are making their first conference finals appearance in franchise history and are playing without injured F Kawhi Leonard (knee). On Friday, LA erased a 25-point deficit to earn an improbable 131-119 home victory versus Utah.

LA G Terance Mann poured in a career-high 39 points on a 15-for-21 shooting performance. All-Star G Pual George contributed 28 points and seven assists for the Clippers.

The Phoenix Suns won 27 of their 36 home games during the regular season and are making their first trip to the conference finals since the 2009-2010 season. Last Sunday, Phoenix completed a four-game sweep of Denver with a 125-118 road victory. The second-seeded Suns outrebounded the Nuggets by a 48-37 margin and shot 52 percent from the field.

All-Star G Chris Paul led all scorers with 37 points on 14-for-19 shooting and dished out seven assists. Devin Booker added 34 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns.

Phoenix G Chris Paul tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday and is unlikely to play in the series opener. These two teams ranked in the top four in offensive efficiency during the regular season and with Paul out the pace should be slightly faster. Take the over. Final Score Prediction, Phoenix Suns win 116-112.
