Last Updated: 03/31/2023 at 10:31 PM ET

In Saturday night NBA action, the LA Clippers will invade the Smoothie King Center to take on the New Orleans Pelicans. This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for LA, who was outscored by ten points during the third quarter of last night's 108-94 loss against Memphis. The Clippers (41-37) missed 24 of 35 three-point attempts and turned the ball over 18 times.

Norman Powell led five LA players in double figures with 16 points (6-11 FG) in 25 minutes off the bench. Ivica Zubac added 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting and grabbed 15 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard added 12 points and three rebounds for the Clippers, who were outscored 60-44 in the paint.

The New Orleans Pelicans have won seven of their last ten games and trail Golden State by one full game for sixth place in the Western Conference standings. On Thursday, New Orleans took advantage of All-Star C Nikola Jokic’s absence during a 107-88 road victory against Denver. The Pelicans (39-38) knocked down 13-for-27 from the three-point line and shot 48 percent overall.

New Orleans F Brandon Ingram led all scorers with 31 points (13-22 FG) to go along with 11 rebounds and ten assists. C.J. McCollum nailed 6-for-8 from long range and finished with 23 points. Jonas Valanciunas added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Pelicans.

LA F Paul George suffered a sprained right knee and is expected to miss the next 2-3 weeks. Both teams are trending in the right direction and will be dangerous in a playoff series. Take the Pelicans to win at home. Final Score Prediction, New Orleans Pelicans win 118-108.
