Little Caesars Arena will play host to a Sunday afternoon NBA matchup between the LA Clippers and the Detroit Pistons. The Clippers (35-34) are five games below .500 on the road and sitting in eighth place in the Western Conference standings. On Friday, LA was outrebounded by 11 during a 112-106 road loss against Atlanta.
Reggie Jackson and Ivica Zubac led LA with 24 points apiece on a combined 19-for-33 shooting effort. Luke Kennard added 14 points, four assists, and four rebounds for the Clippers.
The Detroit Pistons have dropped 22 of their 33 home games and own the third worst overall record in the league. On Friday, Detroit was limited to 13 points over the final 12 minutes of a 114-103 road loss against Boston. The Pistons (18-49) were outscored 68-44 in the paint and turned the ball over 14 times in defeat.
Number one overall draft pick Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 27 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Jerami Grant and Marvin Bagley III added 20 points each for the Pistons.
