LA Clippers at Brooklyn Nets 2/2/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Los Angeles Clippers will visit the Brooklyn Nets. The Clippers (16-5) have won three straight games and own the best overall record in the league. On Sunday, Los Angeles outscored New York by 13 points during the second half to pull away for a 129-115 road triumph.

Los Angeles F Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 28 points on 8-for-15 shooting and converted all 11 of his free-throw attempts. Paul George contributed 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists for the Clippers.

The Brooklyn Nets rank first in the league in scoring (122.2 ppg) and are the betting favorite to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. On Sunday, Brooklyn surrendered a five-point lead in the closing seconds of a 149-149 road loss against Washington. The Nets (13-9) connected on 19-of-36 from long distance and shot 57 percent overall.

Kevin Durant led five Brooklyn players in double figures with 37 points to go along with seven rebounds and six assists. Joe Harris added 30 points and five assists for the Nets.

Brooklyn G James Harden (rest) did not play on Sunday and is expected back in the lineup for this game. These are the top two teams in the league in offensive efficiency, so the over is worth a look. The stronger play is on the Clippers to win on the road. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Clippers win and cover ATS 127-122.
