Last Updated: 08/08/2019 at 4:36 AM ET

The Thursday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the New York Knicks and Washington Wizards from London’s O2 Arena.

The Knicks have lost four straight games and have one of the worst records in the league. On Sunday, New York’s second half rally fell just short during a 108-105 home loss versus Philadelphia. The Knicks were dominated on the glass by a 70-43 margin and shot 43 percent from the field in defeat.

Rookie F Kevin Knox led all scorers with 31 points on 12-for-23 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds. Luke Kornet added 23 points and five rebounds in a losing effort for the Knicks.
The Washington Wizards have been one of the most disappointing teams in the league through the first half of the season, but are still just 2.5 games out of playoff contention in the East. Last time out, Washington erased a 14-point deficit entering the fourth quarter before falling in double overtime versus Toronto by a 140-138 final score. The Wizards turned the ball over 20 times and shot 46 percent from the field.

Washington G Bradley Beal poured in a game high 43 points to go along with 15 assists and ten rebounds. Trevor Ariza chipped in 23 points and ten assists for the Wizards.

New York C Enes Kanter (personal) will not play and G Tim Hardaway (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams rank near the bottom in defensive efficiency, so the over is worth a play. The stronger move is on the Wizards to win this game going away. Final Score Prediction, Washington Wizards win and cover ATS 118-107.
