Bankers Life Fieldhouse will play host to a Sunday evening clash between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. The Knicks have lost 21 of their first 30 games and are playing hard for first year head coach David Fizdale. On Friday, New York outscored Charlotte by 17 points during the fourth quarter and overtime of a 127-125 road victory. The Knicks scored 48 over the last 17 minutes and shot 48 percent overall.
Emmanuel Mudiay poured in a game high 34 points on 14-for-21 shooting and dished out eight assists. Noah Vonleh chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Knicks.
The Indiana Pacers have won six straight games and are the hottest team in the league. The Pacers are nine games above .500 overall and three games behind Eastern Conference leading Toronto. On Friday, Indiana outscored Philadelphia by 22 points during the second half of a 113-101 road triumph. The Pacers turned the ball over just seven times and limited the 76ers to 41 percent from the field.
Thaddeus Young led five Indiana players in double figures with 26 points and ten rebounds. Victor Oladipo added 14 points and nine assists for the Pacers.
