Knicks at Mavericks 11/8/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The New York Knicks look to snap a four-game losing streak when they hit the road to play the Dallas Mavericks. The Knicks lost their fourth straight on Wednesday when falling to the Detroit Pistons 122-102. New York was paced by Julius Randle with 20 points while Marcus Morris added 18. Knicks are 1-7 and sit in last place in the Atlantic Division.

Dallas improved to 5-2 with a 107-106 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. With the win, the Mavericks moved into first place in the Southwest division a half-game ahead of the Houston Rockets. Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 27 points but it was two charges he took on the defensive end during the final minute that sealed the win for Dallas.

RJ Barrett leads the Knicks in scoring with an average of 17.9 points per game. Julius Randle is the third leading scorer, leading rebounder and leader in assists with averages of 14.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Four players for the Knicks are averaging double-figures in scoring.

Luka Doncic leads Dallas in scoring, rebounding and assists with averages of 26.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game. Kristaps Porzingis is second in scoring with an average of 19.0 points per game and leads in blocked shots with an average of 2.3 per game. Four players on the Mavericks are averaging double figures in scoring.

Dallas is playing much better than basketball pundits expected as Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis have given the Mavericks a strong game on the offensive end of the court, while Doncic plays excellent one-on-one defense and Porzingis is protecting the rim. New York is in last place in the Atlantic division and has won just one of eight games to start the season. Final Score Prediction, Dallas Mavericks win and cover ATS 127-111.
