The Tuesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the New York Knicks and the Charlotte Hornets from the Spectrum Center. The Knicks (13-34) have dropped 17 of their 23 road games and own the third worst record in the Eastern Conference. On Sunday, New York outscored Brooklyn in each quarter of an impressive 110-97 home victory.

New York F/C Julius Randle tallied a team-high 22 points on 22 field goal attempts and pulled down 15 rebounds. Marcus Morris added 21 points on a 9-for-18 shooting performance for the Knicks.

The Charlotte Hornets got off to a strong start with a young roster, but come into this contest looking to snap a season-long eight game skid. Last time out, Charlotte was outscored by 13 points over the final 12 minutes of a 116-103 loss against Milwaukee in Paris. The Hornets (15-31) were outrebounded by a 62-46 margin and shot just 37 percent from the field.

Charlotte G Malik Monk poured in a game-high 31 points on 10-for-17 shooting in 34 minutes off the bench. Devonte’ Graham added 19 points and seven rebounds for the Hornets.

New York rookie R.J. Barrett (ankle) is wearing a walking boot and will be re-evaluated in one week. The Hornets rank last in the league in tempo and the Knicks rank third worst in offensive efficiency. Take the under on Tuesday. Final Score Prediction, Charlotte Hornets win 101-99.
