Last Updated: 08/08/2019 at 4:41 AM ET

The Monday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers from Quicken Loans Arena.

The Knicks enter this contest looking to snap a 16-game losing streak and own the worst record in the league. On Saturday, New York was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 104-99 home loss versus Toronto. The Knicks out rebounded the Raptors by a 70-51 margin and limited them to 38 percent shooting.

New York rookie F Kevin Knox tallied a team high 20 points on 7-for-21 from the field. DeAndre Jordan added 10 points and 18 rebounds in a losing effort for the Knicks. The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost 21 of their 27 home games and have just one more victory overall than the lowly Knicks. On Saturday, Cleveland was outscored by 13 points during the first quarter of a 105-90 road loss against Indiana. The Cavaliers were outrebounded by a 54-38 margin and connected on 16-for-36 from long distance.

Jordan Clarkson led Cleveland with 18 points and six assists in 31 minutes off the bench. Larry Nance Jr. added 16 points and ten rebounds for the Cavaliers.

Cleveland F Cedi Osman (right ankle) did not suit up on Saturday and is listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams rank in the bottom three in defensive efficiency and are playing plenty of young players. Take the over on Monday. Final Score Prediction, Cleveland Cavaliers win but like the over total the best 110-109.
