Kings at Hawks 11/8/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In Friday night NBA action, the Sacramento Kings will travel to State Farm Arena to face the Atlanta Hawks. The Kings are off to a disappointing 2-6 start and rank 27th in the league in scoring with just over 101 points per game. On Wednesday, Sacramento allowed Toronto to schoot 55 percent from the floor during a 124-120 road loss. 

Sacramento F Harrison Barnes tallied a game high 24 points on a 7-for-15 shooting effort. Buddy Hield added 21 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Kings.

There was some excitement starting to build around the Atlanta Hawks, but they figure to struggle after losing F John Collins to a 25-game suspension. Trae Young is the major reason for optimism in Atlanta and he is averaging a team best 27.2 points per game. On Wednesday, the Hawks fell to a game below .500 overall after a 113-93 home loss versus Chicago.

The Hawks were outscored by 14 points in the first quarter and never cut the lead to single digits for the rest of the night. Jabari Parker led Atlanta with 18 points and five rebounds.

Sacramento F Marvin Bagley is expected to be out until later this month while recovering from a fractured left thumb. The Kings almost pulled one out against the Raptors last time out and will steal one against the Hawks on Friday.
