The Sacramento Kings look to snap a two-game losing streak on Friday when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies. The Kings were beaten by Toronto on Tuesday night 120-105. Marvin Bagley III was the leading scorer for Sacramento in the loss with 22 points. The Kings were outrebounded by the Raptors 64-54.
Memphis lost its seventh straight on Wednesday after falling to the Charlotte Hornets 118-107. Memphis is having problems on the court and internally as they have lost 13 of the last 14 overall and the team owner announced that Marc Gasol and Mike Conley are both on the trade block. In the loss on Wednesday, Conley scored 31 points and Gasol posted a triple double with 22 points, 17 boards and 10 assists.
Buddy Hield leads the Kings in scoring with an average of 20.2 points per game. De’Aaron Fox is the second leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 17.4 points and of 7.3 assists per game. The leading rebounder for the Kings is Willie Cauley-Smith with an average of 8.8 rebounds per game. The Kings as a team are shooting 46.7% from the field and 38.8% from 3-point territory.
Mike Conley leads the Grizzlies in scoring and assists with averages of 20.0 points and 6.0 assists per game. Marc Gasol is the leading rebounder and second leading scorer with averages of 8.7 rebounds and 15.4 points per game. Memphis is shooting 45.1% from the field and 34.2% from three-point territory.
