In Wednesday night NBA action, the Utah Jazz will invade the AT&T Center to battle the San Antonio Spurs. On Monday, Utah was unable to take advantage of the absence of James Harden and Russell Westbrook during a 126-117 home loss versus Houston. The Jazz (32-14) never led in the second half and turned the ball over 18 times on the night.

Utah G Donovan Mitchell scored a team-high 36 points on a 14-for-25 shooting performance. Rudy Gobert added 12 points and 14 rebounds in a losing effort for the Jazz.

The San Antonio Spurs have lost three straight games and currently trail Memphis by two games in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. On Monday, DeMar DeRozan missed a free throw with 0.2 seconds remaining during a 110-109 road loss against Chicago. The Spurs (20-26) wee outscored by 11 points over the final 12 minutes and shot 46 percent overall in defeat.

San Antonio G DeMar DeRozan tallied a game-high 36 points on 11-for-21 shooting and pulled down ten rebounds. Patty Mills added 25 points on 8-for-15 from the field in 29 minutes off the bench.

San Antonio F/C LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) did not play in Monday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams rank in the top ten in offensive efficiency, so the over is worth a look. The stronger play is on Utah to rebound with a convincing road victory. Final Score Prediction, Utah Jazz win and cover ATS 116-107.
