In the first game of a Monday night NBA TV doubleheader, the Utah Jazz will visit the Toyota Center to face the Houston Rockets.
The Jazz are two games below .500 overall and rank sixth in the league in scoring defense. On Saturday, Utah traveled to Mexico City and came away with a 96-89 loss against Orlando. The Jazz were out rebounded by a 57-47 margin and shot a woeful 32 percent from the floor.
Utah G Donovan Mitchell tallied a game high 24 points on an 8-for-21 shooting performance. Derrick Favors added 21 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Jazz.
The Houston Rockets have won three straight games and are looking to climb back into contention in the Western Conference. On Saturday, Houston built a 21-point halftime lead and managed to hold on down the stretch for a 105-97 road victory at Memphis. The Rockets knocked down 13-for-37 from long range and shot 48 percent overall.
Reigning MVP James Harden led all scorers with 32 points to go along with 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Clint Capela contributed 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets.
