On Wednesday, Charlotte outscored Washington by 16 points during the third quarter to pull away for a 97-87 home victory. The Hornets (9-7) outrebounded the Wizards by a 59-48 margin and held them to 37 percent shooting. 

Terry Rozier led six Charlotte players in double figures with 19 points and eight rebounds. Miles Bridges contributed 17 points, ten rebounds, and five assists for the Hornets.
