Houston Rockets at LA Lakers 9/12/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Houston Rockets will look to stave off elimination when the take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night from the Walt Disney World Resort. The Rockets took the series opener, but have dropped the next three games by a total of 28 points. On Thursday, Houston never led and shot just 43 percent from the field during a 110-100 defeat.

Houston G Russell Westbrook tallied a team-high 25 points on an 8-for-16 shooting performance. James Harden added 21 points on a woeful 2-for-11 from the field and dished out ten assists. 

The Los Angeles Lakers have matched Houston’s small ball lineup and are one game away from the Western Conference Finals. In Game Four, Los Angeles built a 16 points halftime lead and led by as many as 23 points on the night. The Lakers dominated the Rockets on the glass by a 59-33 margin and shot 49 percent from the floor.

Los Angeles F Anthony Davis led all scorers with 29 points on 10-for-18 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds. LeBron James contributed 16 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists for the Lakers.
