The Sunday NBA schedule will get underway with a matchup between the Charlotte Hornets and Indiana Pacers from Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
This will be the second of a back-to-back for both teams. On Saturday, Charlotte shot a sizzling 55 percent from the field during an easy 135-115 home victory versus Phoenix. The Hornets knocked down 16-for-34 from long distance and dominated the Suns on the glass by a 53-26 margin.
Kemba Walker led a balanced Charlotte scoring attack with 21 points and eight rebounds. Jeremy Lamb chipped in 18 points and six assists for the Hornets.
The Indiana Pacers have won 16 of their 22 home games and are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference standings. Last night, Indiana outscored visiting Dallas by 15 points during the second quarter of a 111-99 victory. The Pacers assisted on 23 of their 42 made field goals and shot 49 percent from the floor.
Tyreke Evans led five Indiana players in double figures with 19 points in 25 minutes off the bench. Victor Oladipo added 12 points to go along with eight rebounds and six assists for the Pacers.
