The American Airlines Center will play host to a Wednesday night NBA clash between the Charlotte Hornets and Dallas Mavericks.

The Dallas Mavericks have won 18 of their 25 home games and made major news by acquiring F Kristaps Porzingis from New York in a trade. On Saturday, an undermanned Dallas squad scored 40 points during the first quarter of a 111-98 road victory against Cleveland. The Mavericks out rebounded the Cavaliers by a 58-48 margin and shot 48 percent from the field.

Rookie Luka Doncic matched a career high with 35 points on 13-for-25 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Harrison Barnes chipped in 17 points and five rebounds for the Mavericks.
