The Thursday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic from the Amway Center.

The Hornets have split their previous ten games and lead Detroit by a half-game for seventh place in the East. On Monday, Charlotte fell behind by 16 points during the first half of a 99-90 road loss against Indiana. The Hornets out rebounded the Pacers by a 61-46 margin, but shot a dismal 32 percent from the field.

All-Star G Kemba Walker poured in a game high 34 points on 10-for-23 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. Jeremy Lamb added 21 points and seven rebounds for the Hornets. The Orlando Magic have won four straight games and have moved 1.5 games behind Detroit for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. On Tuesday, Orlando raced out to a 22-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 118-88 road triumph over New Orleans. The Magic outrebounded the Pelicans by a 64-50 margin and shot 44 percent from the field.

Orlando C Nikola Vucevic tallied a game high 25 points and 17 rebounds in just 27 minutes of action. Evan Fournier chipped in 22 points and six rebounds for the Magic.

Charlotte G Tony Parker is dealing with a back injury and is listed as doubtful for this contest. These two teams are pretty evenly matched statistically, so there is no play on the side.
