Heat at Spurs 1/19/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Sunday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matinee between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs from the AT&T Center. The Heat (29-12) have split their 22 road games and trail Milwaukee by 7.5 games for second place in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, Miami raced out to a 14-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 115-108 road victory against Oklahoma City.

Kendrick Nunn led a balanced Miami scoring attack with 22 points on a 9-for-17 shooting performance. Bam Adebayo chipped in 21 points and eight rebounds for the Heat.

The San Antonio Spurs are just a game above .500 at home and trail Memphis by two full games in the race for the final playoff spot in the West. On Friday, San Antonio surrendered a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter of a 121-120 home loss versus Atlanta. The Spurs (17-23) outrebounded the Hawks by five and missed 21 of their 29 three-point attempts.

San Antonio F/C LaMarcus Aldridge tallied a team-high 30 points and five rebounds in just 28 minutes of action. DeMar DeRozan added 25 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists for the Spurs.

Miami G Tyler Herro (knee) was unable to play in Friday’s victory and is listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams are tied for sixth in offensive efficiency and are weaker on the defensive end of the floor. Take the over on Sunday. Final Score Prediction, San Antonio Spurs win but our top play is this over play 116-115.
