The Sunday NBA schedule will get tip-off with a matinee between the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors from Scotiabank Arena.

The Heat have lost three straight games and trail Orlando by one full game in the race for the final playoff spot in the East. On Friday, Dwyane Wade’s buzzer beating three-point attempt missed the mark and Miami lost at Minnesota by a 111-109 final score. The Heat turned the ball over 17 times and shot 50 percent from the field.

Dwyane Wade led all scorers with 24 points on 8-for-16 shooting in 29 minutes off the Miami bench. Goran Dragic added 15 points and nine assists in a losing effort for the Heat. The Toronto Raptors have won 31 of their 40 home games and are locked in as the number two seed for the Eastern Conference playoffs. On Friday, Toronto F Kawhi Leonard was unable to deliver a game winning shot in the final seconds of a 113-111 road loss against Charlotte. The Raptors assisted on 27 of their 43 made field goals and shot 54 percent overall.

Kawhi Leonard matched a game high with 29 points on a 12-for-18 shooting performance. Kyle Lowry added 16 points and 11 assists in a losing effort for the Raptors.

Miami F Derrick Jones Jr. (right knee bone bruise) did not play on Friday and is listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams rank in the top seven in defensive efficiency, so the under is a possible play. Miami is in desperate need of a victory and will get it on Sunday. Final Score Prediction, Miami Heat win in upset but grab the points just in case 107-103.
