In Tuesday night NBA action, the Miami Heat will invade Scotiabank Arena to battle the Toronto Raptors. The Heat (14-5) have won consecutive games and trail Milwaukee by three full games for the best record in the Eastern Conference. On Sunday, Miami rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit to score a 109-106 road victory against Brooklyn.

Goran Dragic tallied a team high 24 points and dished out six assists in 31 minutes off the Miami bench. Bam Adebayo contributed 17 points and 16 rebounds for the Heat.

The Toronto Raptors are riding a seven-game winning streak and are one of three teams in the league who have yet to lose at home. On Sunday, Toronto built a franchise record 40-point halftime lead and cruised to a 130-110 home victory versus Utah. The Raptors scored 77 points over the first 24 minutes and knocked down 19-for-36 from the three-point line for the game.

Toronto F Pascal Siakam poured in a game high 35 points on a 14-for-22 shooting performance. Fred VanVleet chipped in 21 points and 11 assists for the Raptors.

Toronto G Kyle Lowry (thumb) practiced in full on Monday, but is listed as doubtful for this contest. These two teams rank in the top five of the league in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on Miami to send Toronto to their first home loss. Final Score Prediction, Miami Heat 105-100.
