Denver lost its third straight on Friday falling to the Philadelphia 76ers 117-110. The Nuggets were led by Nikola Jokic with 27 points, while Jamal Murray scored 23 in the loss. The Nuggets played without two of the team’s top five scorers as Gary Harris and Paul Millsap sat out with injuries. Harris has a strained groin while Millsap has a sore ankle. Josh Richardson is leading the Heat in scoring with an average of 17.4 points per game. Hassan Whiteside is the team leader in rebounds and blocked shots with averages of 12.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game. Dwayne Wade is leading the Heat in assists with an average of 4.3 per game. Miami is shooting 44.5% from the field and 35.0% from three-point territory.

Nikola Jokic is the leading scorer, rebounder and leads in assists with averages of 20.4 points, 10.5 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game. Jamal Murray is the second leading scorer with an average of 18.8 points per game. As a team, Denver is shooting 47.0% from the field and 35.4% from 3-point territory.

Miami has not fared well against Denver failing to cover 17 of the last 25. The Heat is road weary, will be playing the second half of a back-to-back and in Mile High City where the air is thinner and affects the breathing of those not accustomed to living or playing there. All are reasons the Heat will be beat. Final Score Prediction, Denver Nuggets win and cover ATS 117-103.
