Heat at Magic 1/3/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Friday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic from the Amway Center. This will be the second of a back-to-back for Miami, who locked down defensively during last night’s 84-76 home victory versus Toronto. The Heat forced the Raptors into 6-for-42 shooting from the three-point line. 

Miami C Bam Adebayo converted seven of his eight field goal attempts and finished with a team-high 15 points. Tyler Herro and Goran Dragic chipped in 13 points apiece off the Heat bench. 

The Orlando Magic have won 10 of their 17 home games and are looking to make their second straight postseason appearance for head coach Steve Clifford. On Wednesday, Orlando outscored Washington by 17 points during the second half of a 122-101 road triumph. The Magic (15-19) outrebounded the Wizards by a 63-53 margin and limited them to 38 percent shooting.

Veteran G D.J. Augustin tallied a season-high 25 points and nine assists in 31 minutes off the Orlando bench. Nikola Vucevic contributed 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Magic.
