Heat at Cavaliers 11/14/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Thursday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The Heat have won seven of their first ten games and are led in scoring by Jimmy Butler at 19.4 points per contest. On Tuesday, Miami built a 22-point halftime lead and managed to hang on for a 117-108 home victory versus Detroit.

Jimmy Butler scored 11 of his team high 20 points in the fourth quarter and dished out 13 assists. Bam Adebayo contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Heat. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers have started off the season by losing six of their first ten games for first year head coach John Beilein. On Tuesday, Cleveland fell victim to a Joel Embiid dunk with 13.2 seconds remaining during a 98-87 road loss against Philadelphia. The Cavaliers limited the 76ers to 16 points over the final 12 minutes and turned the ball over 14 times on the night.

Kevin Love and Jordan Clarkson scored 20 points apiece to lead the Cavaliers in scoring. Tristan Thompson added 17 points and 12 rebounds in a losing effort for Cleveland.
