Southeast Division rival will clash on Monday night, when the Atlanta Hawks invade Capital One Arena to face the Washington Wizards.
The Hawks are allowing a league worst 118 points and are 18 games below .500 overall. On Saturday, Atlanta outscored Phoenix by eight points during the fourth quarter of a 118-112 road victory. The Hawks out rebounded the Suns by a 62-46 margin and shot 51 percent from the field.
Atlanta F/C John Collins poured in a game high 35 points on 13-for-20 shooting and grabbed 16 rebounds. Rookie Trae Young contributed 27 points and eight assists for the Hawks.
The Washington Wizards have won 16 of their 26 home game and trail Miami by 2.5 games for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. On Saturday, Washington surrendered 73 points during the first half of a 131-115 home loss versus Milwaukee. The Wizards fell behind by 23 points at halftime and shot 46 percent overall.
Washington G Bradley Beal tallied a team high 24 points on an 8-for-16 shooting performance. Otto Porter Jr. added 18 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort for the Wizards.
