Hawks at Spurs 1/17/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Atlantic Hawks look for their second consecutive victory on Friday when visiting the San Antonio Spurs. The Hawks improved to 9-32 and snapped a four-game losing streak with a 123-110 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. Trae Young led Atlanta with 36 points including 21 during the fourth quarter when the Hawks  gradually pulled away to win by 13.

San Antonio looks to bounce back from a loss when hosting the Hawks on Friday. The Spurs fell to 17-22 overall following a 106-100 loss on Wednesday to the Miami Heat. DeMar DeRozan paced the Spurs in the loss with 30 points hitting 12 of his 14 field goals, while Patty Mills chipped in with 21. The Spurs missed 11 of their first 12 field-goal attempts to begin the fourth quarter.

DeMar DeRozan leads San Antonio in scoring and assists with averages of 22.6 points and 5.1 assists per game. LaMarcus Aldridge is the second leading scorer and leading rebounder for San Antonio with averages of 18.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. The Spurs have six players averaging double figures in scoring.
