Southeast Division rivals will battle on Tuesday night, when the Atlanta Hawks visit American Airlines Arena to face the Miami Heat. The Hawks (6-17) have won nine of their 12 road games and rank third worst in the league in scoring defense at 117.3 ppg allowed. On Sunday, Atlanta exploded for 71 points over the final 24 minutes of a 122-107 road triumph against Charlotte.

Second-year pro Trae Young poured in a game high 30 points to go along with nine assists and six rebounds. Jabari Parker chipped in 19 points and seven rebounds for the Hawks.

The Miami Heat are one of three undefeated teams at home and are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Sunday, Miami needed overtime to finish a feisty Chicago squad and score a 110-105 home victory. The Heat dominated the Bulls on the glass by a 58-46 margin and shot 42 percent from the field.

Rookie G Tyler Herro was on fire for Miami down the stretch and finished with a game high 27 points. Bam Adebayo contributed 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Heat.
