Hawks at Grizzlies 3/7/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 03/06/2020 at 11:05 PM ET

In Saturday night NBA action, the Atlanta Hawks will travel to the FedEx Forum to take on the Memphis Grizzlies. This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for Atlanta, who played without Trae Young (illness) during last night’s 118-112 loss at Washington. The Hawks (19-45) turned the ball over 18 times and shot 54 percent from the floor.

Rookie Cam Reddish led five Atlanta players in double figures with 28 points in 29 minutes off the bench. John Collins added 26 points and ten rebounds in a losing effort for the Hawks.

The Memphis Grizzlies have dropped six of their previous ten games and hold a three-game lead in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Last night, Memphis was outscored by 18 points during the third quarter of a 121-96 road loss against Dallas. The Grizzlies (31-32) turned the ball over 19 times and missed 21 of their 30 three-point attempts.

Josh Jackson led four Memphis players in double figures with 16 points in 22 minutes off the bench. Jonas Valanciunas added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies.

Memphis forwards Brandon Clarke (quad) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) will remain sidelined for this contest. Both teams rank near the top of the league in tempo, so look for a higher scoring affair. Take the Hawks to avenge a recent 39-point home loss against the Grizzlies. Final Score Prediction, Atlanta Hawks win and cover ATS 123-115.
