The Memphis Grizzlies look to bounce back from defeat when they visit the Golden State Warriors on Monday. The Grizzlies lost their last outing on Saturday 105-97 to the Houston Rockets. Memphis trailed by 14 points after three quarters and could not make up the difference. Mike Conley led the Grizzlies in the loss with 22 points.
Golden State defeated the Sacramento Kings 130-125 in its latest outing. The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry with 35 points. Klay Thompson sank a 3-pointer with 38.4 seconds remaining to put the Warriors ahead and Curry hit four from the charity stripe over the final minutes of play. Golden State overcame 18 turnovers to just 13 committed by Sacramento.
Mike Conley leads the Grizzlies in scoring and assists with averages of 20.4 points and 6.5 assists per game. Marc Gasol is the leading rebounder and second leading scorer with averages of 8.7 rebounds and 16.3 points per game. Memphis is shooting 45.6% from the field and 34.9% from three-point territory.
Stephen Curry leads the Warriors in scoring with an average of 29.3 points per game. Draymond Green leads the team in rebounding and assists with averages of 7.9 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. As a team, Golden State is shooting 49.1% from the field and 39.0% from 3-point territory.
