In Monday night NBA action, the Memphis Grizzlies will travel to the Toyota Center to battle the Houston Rockets.
The Grizzlies have lost seven of their previous ten games and are currently one game out of playoff contention in the Western Conference. On Saturday, Memphis was outscored by 17 points over the final 12 minutes of a 112-103 home loss versus Boston. The Grizzlies turned the ball over 17 times and shot 47 percent overall.
Mike Conley Jr. led five Memphis players in double figures with 26 points and six assists. Marc Gasol added 15 points and ten assists in a losing effort for the Grizzlies.
The Houston Rockets started the season off slowly, but are rounding into form behind reigning MVP James Harden. The Rockets have won four straight games and are currently in fifth place in the Western Conference standings. On Saturday, Houston made the plays down the stretch of a 108-104 road victory against New Orleans. The Rockets knocked down 16-for-46 from long range and shot 43 percent overall.
James Harden poured in a game high 41 points to go along with nine rebounds and six assists. Harden has scored at least 35 points and dished out five assists in seven consecutive games.
