Little Caesars Arena will play host to a Tuesday night NBA clash between the Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons.

The Grizzlies have lost 28 of their 40 road games and have moved forward with a rebuilding effort centered around rookie F Jaren Jackson Jr.. On Sunday, Memphis was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 129-127 overtime loss versus Dallas. The Grizzlies connected on 19-for-43 from long distance in defeat.

Memphis G/G Justin Holiday led all scorers with 30 points on a 9-for-20 shooting performance. Delon Wright added 20 points to go along with 13 rebounds and 12 assists for the Grizzlies. The Detroit Pistons have lost four straight games and are trying to hold onto the eighth and final playoff spot in the East. On Sunday, Detroit was limited to just 16 points over the final 12 minutes of a 104-91 home loss versus Charlotte. The Pistons were outscored by 13 points during the second quarter and shot just 37 percent from the field.

Reserve G Ish Smith tallied a team high 20 points on 9-for-16 shooting in 29 minutes off the Detroit bench. Andre Drummond contributed 15 points and 23 rebounds for the Pistons.

Detroit F Blake Griffin (sore left knee) is feeling better and is being listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams rank in the bottom three in tempo, but the Grizzlies have been playing much faster as of late. It is hard to back Detroit, even in a must win situation. Take the over on Tuesday. Final Score Prediction, Detroit Pistons win high scoring over game 115-110.
