Last Updated: 11/07/2019 at 9:01 PM ET

The Friday NBA schedule will tip off with a matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Orlando Magic from the Amway Center. The Grizzlies, led by the young duo of Ja Morant and Jalen Jackson Jr., have lost five of their first seven games. On Wednesday, Memphis shot a sizzling 57 percent from the field during a 137-121 home victory versus Minnesota.

Memphis G Dillon Brooks tallied a game high 31 points, including 5-for-7 from the three-point line. Rookie Ja Morant contributed 26 points and four assists for the Grizzlies.

The Orlando Magic are looking to build off last year’s playoff appearance, but have dropped six of their first eight contests. The Magic rank last in the league in scoring at 93.6 points per game and have lost four straight. On Wednesday, Nikola Vucevic missed a potential game-winning jump shot during a 107-106 road loss against Dallas.

Orlando F Aaron Gordon scored a team high 23 points on 10-for-17 shooting, but was called for two charging fouls in the final minute. Nikola Vucevic added 19 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort for the Magic.

Orlando G Terrence Ross (sore left knee) did not play on Wednesday and is listed as questionable for this matchup. Take the Magic to clamp down defensively for a double-digit home victory. Just too much for young Grizzlies to overcome on the road, Final Score Prediction, Orlando Magic win and cover ATS 109-99.
