Grizzlies at Hornets 11/13/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Two of the youngest teams in the league will square off on Wednesday night, when the Memphis Grizzlies visit the Charlotte Hornets. The Grizzlies are led by rookie G Ja Morant (17.8 ppg) and have lost seven of their first ten games. On Monday, Memphis raced out to a 13-point lead after one quarter and held on for a 113-109 road victory against San Antonio. 

Second-year pro Jaren Jackson Jr. led the way with 24 points on 10-for-17 from the field. Jonas Valanciunas contributed 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Grizzlies.

The Charlotte Hornets have lost three straight games and are still in search of an elite, young player to build their franchise around. On Sunday, Charlotte allowed Philadelphia to shoot 55 percent from the field during a 114-106 road loss. The Hornets were outrebounded by a 54-40 margin and assisted on 22 of their 38 made field goals.

Veteran C Cody Zeller led five Charlotte players in double figures with 24 points and seven rebounds. Devonte Graham added 19 points and ten assists in 34 minutes off the bench.
