Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns 10/25/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the second game of an NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Golden State Warriors will square off against the Phoenix Suns. The Warriors (2-1) have won four of the previous eight NBA Championships and have shown a lack of attention to detail defensively through their first three games. On Sunday, Golden State scored a franchise record 50 points during the second quarter of a 130-125 home victory versus Sacramento.

All-Star G Steph Curry needed just 31 minutes to score a game-high 33 points on 11-for-22 from the field. Jordan Poole added 24 points off the bench for the Warriors, who led by as many as 26 points in the second half.

The Phoenix Suns have been one of the best teams in the league the last two years and are looking to rebound from a disappointing second round exit versus Dallas. On Sunday, Phoenix PG Chris Paul became the third player in NBA history to reach 11,000 assists during a 112-95 home victory versus LA. The Suns (2-1) raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and never trailed on the evening.

All-Star G Devin Booker poured in a game-high 35 points on a 13-for-21 shooting performance and dished out four assists. Chris Paul contributed seven points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds for the Suns. Deandre Ayton added 13 points and eight rebounds.

Phoenix F Jae Crowder is not practicing with the team and there are a couple of teams that have expressed an interested in trading for him. With Chris Paull running the show, the Suns play at the second slowest tempo. The under is my lean on the total, but I like the Warriors to win on the road. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win 113-108.
