The Warriors (44-22) have dropped seven of their previous ten games and trail Memphis by a half-game for second place in the West. On Tuesday, Golden State limited LA to 36 percent shooting during a 112-97 home victory.
Golden State rookie F Jonathan Kuminga led all scorers with 21 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson chipped in 20 points apiece for the Warriors.
The Denver Nuggets have won 10 of their last 11 games and are tied with Dallas for fifth place in the Western Conference standings. Last night, Denver built a 12-point halftime lead and held on down the stretch to earn a 106-100 road victory against Sacramento. The Nuggets (40-26) outrebounded the Kings by a 51-38 margin and shot 49 percent from the field.
Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic poured in a game-high 38 points (15-24 FG) to go along with 18 rebounds and seven assists. Monte Morris added 20 points and four assists for the Nuggets.
