Golden State Warriors at Boston Celtics 6/8/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The scene will shift to TD Garden for Game Three of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. The Warriors have dropped four of their first seven road games this postseason and rank first in offensive efficiency. On Sunday, Golden State outscored Boston by 21 points during the third quarter to pull away for a convincing 107-88 home victory.

All-Star G Steph Curry led all scorers with 29 points on 9-for-21 shooting and grabbed six rebounds. Jordan Poole contributed 17 points in 23 minutes off the Golden State bench.

The Boston Celtics are a game above .500 at home during the playoffs and rank second in defensive efficiency. After taking the series opener on Golden State’s home floor, Boston turned the ball over 19 times and shot just 38 percent from the field in the Game Two loss. The Celtics were outscored 40-24 in the paint and trailed by as many as 29 points.

All-Star F Jayson Tatum tallied a team-high 28 points on 8-for-19 from the field and pulled down six boards. The rest of the Boston starting lineup combined to score 23 points on a woeful 8-for-28 shooting effort.

Golden State F Andre Iguodala (right knee inflammation) did not play in Sunday’s victory and is listed as questionable for this contest. Boston’s supporting cast failed to do enough on the road to win Game Two, but I like them to bounce back at home. Take the Celtics to win and cover. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win 111-102.
