On Sunday, the Atlanta Dream (4-3) look for their third straight victory when they visit the Seattle Storm (6-2) winners of six of their last seven in a WNBA tilt.
Atlanta was victorious over the Las Vegas Aces in their last outing 87-83. Tiffany Hayes led the Dream in scoring with 24 points. Angel McCoughtry added 23 in the win with nine rebounds.
Seattle won its last outing on Thursday 88-63 over the Los Angeles Sparks. The win was Seattle’s first in Los Angeles in three years. Alysha Clark led the Storm with 17 points while Breanna Stewart chipped in with 16 points. Crystal Langhorne is questionable for Seattle with a rib injury.
Tiffany Hayes leads the Dream in scoring with an average of 18.3 points per game. The second lead scorer and second leading rebounder is Angel McCoughtry with averages of 16.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Jessica Breland leads the team in rebounds with an average of 8.7 per game. The leader in assists is Renee Montgomery with an average of 3.1 per game.
Breanna Stewart leads the Storm in scoring and rebounding with averages of 21.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Jewell Loyd is the second leading scorer averaging 20.1 points per game. Natasha Howard is the third leading scorer and second leading rebounder averaging 13.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Sue Bird leads the team in assists averaging 6.6 per game.
