Last Updated: 08/20/2019 at 10:40 AM ET

The Atlanta Dream looks to snap a 10-game losing streak when they visit the Phoenix Mercury on Friday. The Dream lost to the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday in their most recent outing 94-90. Jessica Breland led the Dream in the loss with 18 points hitting 8 of 13 field goal attempts. Atlanta held a five-point lead entering the fourth quarter but could not hold on down the stretch.

Phoenix played short-handed following the three-game suspension of high scorer Brittney Griner and lost to the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday 78-71. Although the Mercury trailed 58-38 at one point, Phoenix battled back with a 15-1 run to close to within six, but could get no closer. DeWanna Bonner led Phoenix with 17 points. Tiffany Hayes leads the Dream in scoring with an average of 13.9 points per game. Jessica Breland is leading in rebounding with an average of 6.9 rebounds per game. Hayes leads the Dream in assists with an average of 3.1 per game. Brittney Sykes is the only other Dream player averaging double figures in scoring with an average of 10.9 points per game.

Brittney Griner is the leading scorer and second in rebounding for Phoenix with averages of 19.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. DeWanna Bonner is second in scoring and leading in rebounding with averages of 18.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Leilani Mitchell leads in assists with an average of 4.4 per game.

Phoenix will continue to struggle without high scorer and second leading rebounder Brittney Griner, but will be facing an Atlanta team that has lost 10 straight. Although the Dream will lose this straight up, Atlanta will keep it close enough to cover. The Dream has covered 10 of the last 12 when playing on 2 days rest. Final Score Prediction, Phoenix Mercury wins but fails to cover ATS 81-79
