In Thursday night NBA action, the Detroit Pistons will travel to the Footprint Center to face the Phoenix Suns. The Pistons (4-16) are rebuilding around number one overall draft pick Cade Cunningham and have lost six straight games. On Tuesday, Detroit shot just 38 percent from the field during a 110-92 road loss against Portland.

Cade Cunningham led five Detroit players in double figures with 26 points on a 10-for-13 shooting performance. Isaiah Stewart added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Pistons.

The Phoenix Suns are riding a ridiculous 17-game winning streak and are tied with Golden State for the best record in the league. On Tuesday, Phoenix limited Golden State to 42 points during the second half of a 104-96 home victory. The Suns (18-3) assisted on 28 of their 43 made field goals and shot 49 percent overall.

C Deandre Ayton led a balanced Phoenix scoring attack with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Veteran G Chris Paul contributed 15 points, 11 assists, six rebounds, and five steals for the Suns.

Phoenix G Devin Booker left Tuesday’s victory with left hamstring soreness and his status for this game is uncertain. The Suns are ripping through the league with ease, but will have a hard time getting up for the lowly Pistons. Take the points. Final Score Prediction, Phoenix Suns win 108-102.
