Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic matched a game-high with 25 points (11-15 FG) to go along with 11 rebounds and ten assists. Jamal Murray contributed 25 points on 11-for-21 shooting and dished out seven assists for the Nuggets, who improved to 12-10 on the road this season.
The Milwaukee Bucks have won 18 of their first 23 home games and trail Philadelphia by a half-game for second place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday, Milwaukee erupted for 49 points during the first quarter of a 150-130 road victory against lowly Detroit. The Bucks (30-17) nailed 23-for-52 from the three-point line and shot a sizzling 56 percent overall.
Milwaukee F Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 20 of his team-high 29 points in the first quarter and grabbed 12 rebounds. Veteran C Brook Lopez added 21 points and four rebounds. Jevon Carter and Bobby Portis scored 18 points each off the bench on a combined 14-for-20 from the field..
