Game Start: 6/8/2023, 12:30 AM UTC

Game Three of the NBA Finals will take place on Wednesday night, when the Denver Nuggets travel to the Kaseya Center to take on the Miami Heat. The Nuggets rank first during the playoffs in offensive efficiency and are looking for their first title in franchise history. On Sunday, Denver was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 111-108 home loss versus Miami.

Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic poured in a game-high 41 points on 16-for-28 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Jamal Murray added 18 points (7-15 FG) and ten assists for the Nuggets, who shot 52 percent from the field.

The Miami Heat are making their seventh NBA Finals appearance since 2005 and rank fifth during the postseason in offensive efficiency. In Game Two, Miami outscored Denver 17-5 in the first three plus minutes of the fourth quarter to even this best-of-seven series. The eighth-seeded Heat knocked down 17-for-35 from the three-point line and shot 49 percent overall.

Gabe Vincent led five Miami players in double figures with 23 points on an 8-for-12 shooting performance. Jimmy Butler contributed 21 points on 7-for-19 shooting and dished out nine assists. All-Star C Bam Adebayo added 21 points and nine rebounds for the Heat, who were outrebounded by a 38-31 margin.

Miami G Tyler Herro is still experiencing soreness in his right hand and his status for this game is uncertain. The Nuggets lead the postseason in rebounding rate and the Heat rank eighth in that category. Look for Denver to make some adjustments against the Miami zone and get the job done on the road. Final Score Prediction, Denver Nuggets win 111-103.
