Last Updated: 03/18/2023 at 6:34 PM ET

The Sunday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matinee between the Denver Nuggets and the Brooklyn Nets from the Barclays Center. This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for Denver, who failed to score in the final two minutes and thirty seconds of yesterday’s 116-110 loss against New York. The Nuggets (47-24) were outrebounded by a 43-33 margin and are a game below .500 on the road.

Denver G Jamal Murray tallied a game-high 25 points on 9-for-14 shooting and dished out six assists. All-Star C Nikola Jokic added 24 points (10-18 FG) to go along with ten rebounds and eight assists. Aaron Gordon scored 14 points and dropped seven dimes for the Nuggets.

The Brooklyn Nets have dropped consecutive games and are in danger of falling into one of the play-in game spots in the East. On Thursday, Brooklyn was outscored by 13 points in the second quarter and never led during the second half of a 101-96 home loss versus Sacramento. The Nets (39-31) were dominated on the glass by a 57-41 margin and fell to 19-13 at home this season.

Mikal Bridges led five Brooklyn players in double figures with 23 points (7-17 FG) and four rebounds. Nicolas Claxton added 14 points (6-11 FG) and 14 rebounds for the Nets, who connected on 14-for-39 from the three-point line.

Brooklyn G/F Ben Simmons has been dealing with a knee injury and could be shut down for the remainder of the season. The Nuggets rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and hold a major edge on the glass. Take Denver to cover on the road. Final Score Prediction, Denver Nuggets win 119-111.
