Dallas Mavericks at Utah Jazz 4/21/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Dallas Mavericks head to Salt Lake City Thursday night for game three of their first round series against the Utah Jazz. Dallas was able to tie the series at one game apiece in game two following a 110-104 victory at home. Offensively Dallas shot the ball extremely well making 47% of their shots and 46.8% from beyond the arc to score 110 total points including 62 in the second half to pull away in the fourth quarter.

In the absence of Luka Doncic Dallas turned to point guard Jalen Brunson who poured in a game high 41 points on 15 of 25 shooting in 42 minutes on the floor. Spencer Dinwiddie added 17 points as the second leading scorer for the Dallas starters, while Maxi Kleber knocks down 8 triples to score a team high 25 points off the bench.

The Utah Jazz go back home Thursday night looking for redemption following their game two loss. offensively Utah played well in game one making 46% of their shots and nearly 40% from beyond the arc but turn the ball over 10 times leading to the loss.

Donovan Mitchell carried the Utah offense with 34 points and five assists in 41 minutes on the floor. Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in 25 points and five rebounds, while Jordan Clarkson scored 21 points to lead the way off the Utah bench.

Luka Doncic will most likely play in this game giving the Dallas offense a bolt in game three. Look for Utah to continue to score the ball well in game three regardless of Luka returning. both teams have shot the ball well this series and will continue to light up the scoreboard pushing the total over in game three. Final Score Prediction, Utah wins but the play is the over 112-107.
